Is it possible to use a computer as a view screen for a D700 and if so what would I need to connect them ?

I have an old apple ibook and was thinking of using that as a remote view screen for a high angle pole mounted camera like this.

Have you purchased the high rise stand ?? I have found a Chinese copy for under $200 if you are interested . Happened to purchase the Manfrotto Overlook locally cheaper than USA they may have another one

If I may suggest, try this product. you can d/load a trial version, if you like it just buy the product key and away you go.
I have tested the version for Canon and works wonderful, so the Nikon version should be the same.

well worth a look at.
